First impressions can significantly influence hiring decisions. Because of this, having the right outfit can be the difference in the outcome of a job interview. However, many job seekers don’t have access to professional interview attire due to a lack of resources.
At the same time, many local professionals have retired or transitioned to working from home, leaving them with unneeded business attire. Recognizing both the need and the opportunity, Sienna and Alexander founded Suited2Suceed in the fall of 2025. Their goal was to find a way to provide unused outfits to job seekers who could benefit from such attire.
Suited2Succeed collects donations of gently used professional clothing and curates the items by style, color, and size into complete professional outfits. They are placed onto hangers with a tag offering words of encouragement and are then distributed to job seekers through local employment assistance nonprofits.
To date, Suited2Succeed has received more than 1,200 donations. With these items, the organization prepares business outfits that enable job seekers to feel confident, professional, and prepared to succeed in interviews.
